Plant-based fibres for a simple brushing ritual, wherever you are.

A plant-based tradition
Miswak is a stick from the Salvadora persica tree, also known as the arak tree. Prepare its tip to reveal soft, flexible fibres: a plant-based brush you make yourself.

A closer look
Instead of a moulded brush head, you use the fibres of the wood. When they become worn, trim the tip to reveal a fresh end. Its natural taste is plant-like and slightly earthy.
How to use
Soak the end for 10β20 minutes, then remove 5 mm to 1 cm of bark.
Gently chew the tip to form a small, soft brush.
Brush gently for 1β3 minutes without pressing hard, then rinse the tip.
Rinse the tip after use. Let it air-dry and keep the stick in a breathable holder. Trim the end when the fibres become worn. Avoid sealing a damp stick in an airtight container.
